Linguamadre are Duo Bottasso (Nicolò on violin and Simone on organetto), the Friulan singer Elsa Martin, and the singer and multi-instrumentalist Davide Ambrogio, who wrote "Sa Limba" with Simone Bottasso.

The lyrics of were found in Chiaramonte, a village in the northern part of Sardinia. It's a simple and authentic lullaby to a baby in the mother's womb written in Sardinian language.

One year after their debut, a collection of songs songs based on the poems of "Canzoniere Italiano" by Pier Paolo Pasolini - an immense collection with more than 800 traditional poems written in all the dialects of Italy, the ensemble is showing off their newest compostion, "Sa Limba."

In "Sa Limba" the quartet shows a greater maturity and a more organic approach to their musical choices. It is a powerful and evocative song that enhances the uniqueness of each of the four musicians.
