Moses Davis, aka Beenie Man, aka The Doctor, lets loose from the start, opening with a gospel rocker directing the dance hall to "Move to the left in the name of Jesus/ Move to the right in the name of the Lord/ Shake that booty that Jesus gave you/ Shake that booty in the name of the Lord," and keeps it going through 14 lessons in modern dancehall.

Beenie Man (nicknamed the Doctor for his musical expertise) borrows freely not only from gospel but from hip hop, r&b, and soul, and the synthetic beats. He loads these tracks with irresistible hooks to keep them from going flat. Despite the liner note hype about his message, the Doctor ought to be graded on his ability to keep the groove moving, which he does pretty well. - Craig Tower
