Immigrant Voices
A program of stories from American immigrant experiences.

Hosted by Anthony Riccio and produced by Cliff Furnald, Immigrant Voices will explore the immigrant experience via the stories and music of people who have come to America to seek new lives or escape the old. Anthony Riccio is the author of two critically noted histories, "The Italian American Experience in New Haven: Images and Oral Histories" (SUNY Press) and "Boston's North End: Images and Recollections of an Italian-American Neighborhood" (Globe Pequot). This program, recorded at WPKN Radio in Connecticut, presents some of the original recorded oral histories he used as the basis for his books, as well as regional music and commentary by Anthony.
