Brian Peters, England

Brian is one of those folks that is much admired and under-heard in the music world, a committed performer with a wide range of abilities and an abiding interest in the old roots. While he has been known to play blues and rock and roll on his melodeon, but it is his passion for and knowledge of the traditions of the North and Midlands of England that he brings to this year's festival. He presents three sets of tunes: jigs and hornpipes for the melodeon, and a set of three tunes for concertina; a gavotte, a jig and a double hornpipe. All were recorded at home, especially for the festival.
