Alexei Levin, born in St Petersburg, Russia, is one of the driving forces behind VedaKi (formerly Vershki da Koreshki), an ensemble that knows no geographic or musical boundaries. He is at home in the moodiest of melodic music, and equally happy to be pushing every conceivable edge. We present for the festival this year two distcint sides of Levin, as a solo accordionist and with his unique and agressive ensemble.Netherlands to the World
